It's not "bad" for your hair it's just uncomfortable for you haha.

I can't stand sleeping with my hair down at night it gets in my face and annoys me. But no I'm pretty sure its not bad for you.

Hair ties in your hair are bad when they are really right because its pulling the hair! I have 4 dance classes twice a week and have to have a tight slick bun and it makes a damaged line in my hair where the hair tie is every week.

When my hair is straight, I put it in a loose bun right on top of my head about three inches away from my forehead.

I usually braid mine back at night and loosely tie the hair tie. I can't sleep with my hair down hah

Of a lot of things I've read, keeping your hair tied up stunts the growth and can cause damage.

When my hair was short , I slept with my hair down all the time but now that my hair is super long again I do the exact same thing Char does! Keeps it out of my face and stop it from wrapping around my neck lol. I don't know if this is only me, but it you do sleep with your hair out don't it feel like it's choking you? Lol

It's actually better to sleep with your hair tied up. Don't ask me why, but I've read it several times!

If You Mean Like A Pony Tail Or Bun No It's Not Bad I Do It Every Night To Prevent Tangles But You Might Get A Crease In Your Hair If Its Too Tight.

No just make sure your ponytail isn't too tight.

I think it's actually better to tie it up loosely. Use a scrunchie to prevent creases. Keeping it up will prevent the cuticle from Breaking and causing frizz from rubbing against the pillow.

Well I don't know anything about it really, but I do know a friend of
Mine is permanently bald at her crown, her doctor said I was because she wears a right bun when it's wet (well did) but who knows really.

I have my hair in a plait down my back when sleeping because its so long and annoying. It also stops all my skin care ending up in my hair!
