I have the same problem, i think it is made worse by my hair conditioner.I used to leave conditioner in my hair in the shower until the very last thing, but I notice a huge difference in the backne if I rinse the conditioner THEN wash with my body wash, washing off any conditioner that might be on my skin or whatever. It really helps me.

The proactive cleansing body wash might be able to help,
Nuetrogena even has an oil free acne body wash that's available in drug stores, and the pink grapefruit one smells amazing. :)

HI! I had Backne before and It was Horrible:( I went to my dermatoligist and got Retina which drys up the acne fast! I would suggest that, but If your looking for somthing from the drugstore, I recommend Phisoderm. Also a quick tip to getting rid of your acne on your back is to sleep with your hair in a braid or some kind of messy bun, because a big problem with backne is the hair products your put in your hair irritate your back and cause the acne!

Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil Soap has done wonders for my skin and isn't drying. A little goes a long way, plus it's multipurpose so I can throw it in a foot bath, a bubble bath, or in a bowl of hot steamy water to breathe when you're stuffy or for a facial, or even use it to mop the floor :) It really is magic. I highly suggest it, because beyond all of that it's been amazing to my skin.

I Love neutrogenia grapefruit body wash! When I condition my hair, I pull it up on the top of my head with one of those big ole clips from the 90's. That way, it is off my back. I know its hard to do first thing after a workout, you may want to sit for a second and chill, but get those clothes off your body! When I use neutrogenia's grapefruit body wash, I put it all over my back and butt with a loofah and then let it sit for a minute or two before rinsing it. I also heard that a little bit of baking soda in the bathtub is good for it, but I havn't seen much of a difference yet! Hope this helps!

Make sure you wash your back and shoulders last in the shoulder to remove all the shampoo and conditioner residue. I will clog your pores. Clease acne prone areas with a salicylic wash/benzoyl peroxide. Alternating is great too. I like Neutragena acne body wash$6 or Kaiser Bp wash $7 with a body paddle brush. Make sure you clean any body brushes or loofahs too.

Oh and if you sweat or workout, make sure you wash right away because sweat can can cause breakouts as well! Hope this helped =)

Yes! Get a body scrub brush from Target, The Body Shop etc. Everytime you shower, be sure to put a little shower gel or soap on it and gentle buff your back, this will help clean and clear up your pores. Try to be sure to move your hair to the front and rinse your back off after you're done in the shower. Avoid hair against your bare back as much as possible to avoid oil clogged pores. Good luck!

I found for myself what helped take it away was a combo of things. For general care, I found i wasn't applying moisturizer to my back and my back ended up over producing sebum and thats what was causing acne. I find taking a bath with epsom salt as often as possible is great, washing it with a gentle cleaner and then I found that the Lush Massage bars as a moisturizer work great for me. Another tip is to go on the pill. It also contributed to the clear up.
