I'm trying to grow my hair out but it's taking a long time. I've thought about getting some extensions just to wear every now and then when I want just a little something more.
What are the best brands that aren't completely ridiculous in price.
Or does anyone have any ideas on how to help my hair to grow a little faster?

Hey i agree with Nalie B, with the clip in extensions! They work wonders! Plus you dont need to go through the pain of weaves!
I personally think relgular head massages work! Use coconut oil or any hair oil and massage your scal, leave the oil in for an hour or 2 for conditioner then wash! Ive been doing that a lot lately, with getting married soon i need to have long hair! :)

Yes to clip-in extenstions. My hair is long about 14 inches but on special occasions I like to give my hair a little extra "Va Va Voom" by adding 18 inch Clip-in extenstions. Like Raji K, said it's a painless way to add long hair... no need for a weave!

I just ordered some clip-ins (which is the best method if you dont want to wear it all the time) I got 20 inches 160 for $100 which is not bad price for hair extensions at all! just shop/browse around google or look up extension reviews on youtube & im positive you will find the perfect ones for you.

yes to the extensions BUT ONLY if they are in a good lenght. Nothing looks more discusting than a girl with too long extensions :S try some clip-ons, because they won't damage your hair so much :) and I think you should eat some vitamins which makes hair grow faster.

Community Natural Foods stores sell fantastic vitamins for hair growth. Yes to extensions. I have some and they have helped a lot as i wait for my hair to grow. But take very good care of them!
