I read somewhere or saw a video on YouTube saying that shaving your face helps foundation look less cakey, stays better, etc.
I have a problem with foundation looking cakey no matter what kind of formula the product is because I have such a hairy face (although I have blonde body hair so it's not that bad, but up close it looks like I put on a million layers of makeup which I don't like) and have been thinking about putting on cleanser after showering and shaving my face, but just thought it'd post something on here before I do it incase it's not good at all.
I don't want to end up looking like the Grinch with his hack job face. 😜

DONT DO IT!! The hair will appear thicker and become stubbly when growing back! And you'll probably have to shave everyday so if you miss a day make up will look a hundred times worse! Please don't xx

I think you should wax your face instead. It last longer and the hairs won't be cut on a straight edge.

Yes don't do it! you'll regret it and it will look SO much worse than it does right now when it starts to come back. and can you imagine standing over the sink every morning shaving your face?

No don't shave! Waxing is a lot better and you don't have to do it as often.

Use nair hair remover , I use it to get rid of my upper lip hair , the ONLY time I ever put a razor to my face was when I woke up late for school once & I hadn't removed my "stache" the night before lol , but I do not recommend that , nair facial hair removal works great , it might sting the first couple times you use it , but it works great. I prefer waxing but it's expensive & if done at home it's so messy :/

Try sugaring! you can make it at home, its super cheap, it works like waxing but hurts less. I highly reccomend it!

Definitely NOTTTTTT!! if you shave your face you will get the five oclock shadow you know like the once the mens get after they shave and hair starts showing plus the hair will be super thick... just wax it off.

I shave my face but with those eyebrow razors. its cheap and easy (downwards motions) and the hair does not grow back thicker and my skin feels smooth. I wouldn't use a regular razor though. that would create stubble.

Don't do it! It will grow back worse you don't want a beard!

Derms do this in their offices. It's called 'deplaning' and they do it with a special razor so the hair doesn't grow back thick. If the razor is thin enough, it won't grow thicker-but its best to have them do it because there is a lot of room for error. I've been thinking about it too because I have the same problem, but I don't know how expensive it is to have it done repeatedly.
