UVA=Aging rays UVB=Burning rays UVC=Cancer rays. If you are genetically predisposed to 'tanning', or melanin darkening , you will have no problem tanning with a sunblock on no matter what the SPF is. Also keep in mind that Sunblocks should be reapplied every hour and a half to 2 hours when exposing your skin to sun for extended periods of time. The sunblock will just keep that harmful rays away! The sun harms the elasstin in your skin creating sagging skin. And You may think since you are young now that this won't be an issue! Sunglasses are a must. Do you notice what happens to your eyes when you are out on the sun? you squint causing premature aging (wrinkling around the eyes). I cannot express how important wearing an SPF is. Even in rainy/cloudy days those rats are still there. SPF 30+ should be worn when out in the sun in my opinion. :)

Oh if only you could see the amount of pre cancerous skin lesions I remove with a laser on a daily basis, you may be thinking twice. Be safe in the sun!

Spray tans are good, and I tan very easily even when I wear a high SPF.. Like 75. If you want to tan quickly I suggest after you get out of the pool spray on some sunscreen while you are still wet and let the sun soak it up. Beware, this can cause melanoma, squamous cell, or basal cell.. Any type of skin cancer... So...

Uva, uvb, and uvb rays are dangerous for anyone at any age, and the long-term damage to your skin (and health!) isn't worth it. sunscreen is always a good idea if you're going to be outdoors, and sunbeds are especially risky. if you want to look tanned, spray tans are an option, as are moisturisers with gradual self-tanners. there are also so many natural-looking fake tans on the market now! when I want a bit of colour I use one from rodial.

Tanning is good and bad. Don't lay out for like 5 hours obviously. But you are doing the right thing. Slowly and surely you'll be bronze.

Sunglasses are a must while outdoors to protect your eyes. Polarized being best. My eye doctor preached that me after seeing sun damage on my corneas.
