For me it was 'I think Pink' by OPI. I love love love this color! And it looks great on! But I took at least 6 coats before it was opaque enough! And that was with a white undercoat.
I love the color so much that I do the 6 coats but for $20.00 a bottle it was a little disappointing that I needed so much!

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer. So many raved about it and I was so excited to get it and I thought my search for the perfect concealer was done. wrong! I hated it the formula and it settled into the creases under my eyes like no other. I was disappointed that I just couldn't make it work for me. So it just sits there :(

I hated the maybelline 3 in 1 foundation. Everyone seemed to love it and on YouTube there were such good reviews and my skin isn't even oily I have wonderful soft skin and it patched on me so bad and I hated the texture.

Clarisonic?? That is probably my favorite and best splurge!! Any reason you don't like it? I was really let down by the benefit oxygen wow hello flawless liquid foundation, it did nothing I wanted to, and was a complete let down!

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream it makes me break out anytime I use it. It seems greasy on my face. I like Olay moisturizers but this was really a disappointment.

@jennifer- my face feels great right after I use it but within and hour my face is fifty times more greasy than normal, and I have super oily skin to begin with. I was using the refreshing gel cleanser that I bought with the clarisonic. I also ordered the deep pore brush and when I switched to using that one my fave became super red and irritated along my cheek bones. I might try it again with a different cleanser and brush head, but as of now it has been sittin on the shelf in my shower lookin all lonley for about three months now :/

It was Mac eyeliners the ones they claim were waterproof, not so for me.I also was disappointed in a not so much a splurge item it was cheap in cost but it's NYX eye base that was the worst thing I've ever tried but seems to be raved about by people.

Everything by Burt's Bees. Everyone raves about the whole line, but I've tried a bunch of different products and they suck! The chapstick was just waxy and didn't moisturize, the lotion was greasy and smells awful, the shampoo dried out my hair like no other... Completely awful.

Revlon colorstay liquid foundation - read so many great reviews but the normal/dry formula was still super dry and patchy on me
aveeno positively radient moisturizer - absolutely hated the way it made my skin look and feel. didn't like the smell and was also disappointed it has fragrance and parabens in the ingredients (I love their skin relief body wash that has neither)

@emily... I recently tried their pomegranate Chapstick stuff... Horrible. Smells terrible like some kind of plastic. I had to throw it away, everytime I uncapped it and smelled it I'm like no, this has got to go!

Neutrogena shine control line. It does nothing to help with the oil/shine. And I have really oily skin, so disappointed!

Loreal mi! It was good and felt nice on mu skin but also made it shiny and oily! The foundation is good but not great since it also includes most ingrediants in sunscreen as well which caused it to fade away and make my skin oily! :(
