I know I'm doing something wrong, every time I try using a brush to apply liquid foundation, it leaves lines all over my face (no matter how much I try to blend) But when I apply with my hands it goes on smooth. Any tips?

I would suggest using a beauty blender, it doesn't necessarily have to be from online but I recently bought one at Wal-Mart for only $6 and its great! they also sell em at target...hope this helps beautiful :)

I find that a flat top brush helps foundation blend in more nicely compared to a regular foundation brush, I've also heard that beauty blenders work great too.

Use a more dense brush. And instead of strokes, dab the liquid all over your face. Or try what Michelle showed you - beauty blenders are amazing!

These are the only ones I have, I plan to get the beauty blender but haven't done so yet. Which brushes can you guys suggest?

Maybe it's cause I'm doing long strokes.. Not sure.. Then it seems like it starts getting dry and I don't have it blended right yet haha. It sucks.

Is this the tarte one you're talking about? I have it but wasn't sure what its supposed to be used for.

Thanks Aleighnna! You've been very helpful, :) have to try circular motions. Maybe I'll try the tarte brush now that I know what it's used for haha.

I see that you already got the answers but in case you want one more option, my best, but really THE best brush for foundation is Kanebo Sensai - duo fiber brush. It's really the best of all I try, and if you use it with circle motion and light pressure never live lines
