So, I bit my nails for the past 20 years or as far as I can remember and for the first time I manage to not put them in my mouth. They are starting to grow now and they are at a good length. The problem though is that they are super weak and tend to chip really bad if it gets too long and then break really short...

I already use Nail Envy in matte base coat and millionails from essie plus other cheaper products I once invested money in... Is there any grandma tricks like homemade suggestions you guys have? I want to be able to do crazy manicures one day💅!!

I also bit mine for all my life. I managed to stop in December. I ALWAYS have then painted, I know some people might say that's bad for your nails but I haven't had any problems with them except staining from darker colors so now I always use a base coat. My nails are pretty thin too but I think a quick file once a week makes the tips thicker.

I've bitten mine for over 20 years also and decided within the past year to stop. I've been using biotin pills it's helped my nails greatly. And to help them grow faster also I've been using sally Hansen nail growth miracle. It helps to harden and strengthen them also. Good luck I've gone back to biting a few times due to stress. Sorry I don't know of any homemade remedies. But both things I said you can pick up for less then 10 bucks for both at Walmart or a drugstore!
