Sugar scrub before and after shaving and a good lotion that doesn't clog! it's not a miracle treatment but it does help a lot.

I found my miracle solution that took ALL of my ingrown hairs away right after the very first time I did it... Exfoliating harshly with hardcore exfoliating gloves. Any other type of harsh exfoliating tool would work too. You just have to scrub very hard with a moisturizing shower gel. Keep in mind that I don't have sensitive skin. If you do have sensitive skin, this method might not be good for you. I exfoliate harshly like this before AND after shaving. Then, after shower put on great moisturizers like bio oil and coconut oil (and other great lotions as well). My legs always feel silky smooth because of all this. =)

I get ingrown hairs when I shave and nair gives me hives. The only thing that works for me is waxing.

Dr. Oz said if you shave every day, without a break between, it doesn't give the hair time to grow on the first place and get ingrown. that's a preventative measure. good luck!

I use nair or veet I also only do it once a week you could attempt to tweeze the ingrown hairs if they are surfacing I find that to rid yourself of them you have to wax the legs or tweeze individual hairs I also exfoliate love the gloves and using Dove body wash. I do prefer the waxing or tweezing though an ingrown hair can easily become a cyst in some individuals

Try tend skin! They sell it at sephora. It smells like vinegar, but it's the best for treating & preventing ingrowns.
