How do I get rid of red tones.

So I dyed my hair red abd used crazy colours so it wouldnt mess up my hair then I wanted to get rid of the red so dyed it very dark shade of brown but it didnt get rid of all the red tones so I looked on the internet to find out howni can get rid of the red tones...
first I used green food colour gel and shampoo... done that about 4 times it worked for some of my hair but still had a lot of red tones left... so then I tried washing up liquid and bicarbonate of soda think I done it like 4 times witch again worked but not fully & dryed out my hair real bad
now I'm stuck with the ends a nice blondey colour some roots light blonde some dirty blonde and random patched of red tones and it very annoying!!

CAN ANYONE SUGGEST SOME WAYS TO GET RID OF THIS RED TONES??!!

You need to use toner in your hair to take out any unwanted colours do you have a sally beauty store near by they will help you find the right one

You need to fill it with an ash tone, which you should have done first before the brown.
