My hair is very damaged and I've been using cocunut oil but I'm looking for something else that can help repair the damage that's been done. I've heard tresseme split remedy is supposed to reduce up to 80% of split ends after 3 uses and I was wondering if that was true. Has anybody used it and it actually worked? If not what are some better alternatives?

Heat up some olive oil and apply that as a leave in treatment. I also just bought this conditioner. It is amazing; it leaves your hair so soft and it smells really good.

I don't know if you can get it where you are, I'm in the uk and use organic argon oil and redken anti snap! I find either works and has really helped my hair

I bought that shampoo and conditioner a few months ago and used it for 5 washes it felt like it dried my hair so much and made it super frizzy.

The tresseme treatment does not work. best bet is to trim the ends and do a weekly hair mask with coconut oil and castor oil

Split ends are only cured with a trim. No product can reverse damage already done!

Ty are is correct, but there is shampoo and conditioner to help prevent it. I use penetrait by Sebastian. Thats my recommendation and the rest of my post will be about some of the products people have listed on here.

Tresseme is not a good brand. However, Pantene is even worse. it causes build up..making hair not grow, become dull and fall out not to mention they lie and say there's no sulfates on the front side of the bottle while on the back side there is sulfates listed under ingredients. If you use Pantene you need to buy a good clarify shampoo! Ask any cosmetologist and I mean any, it's the worst drug store brand.

And as for Loreal, they're being sewed right now they recalled a product for having metallic salts in them, ( I don't know how many products had the salts) people are trying to bleach their hair and it's melting together! I'm not sure if its products or just box color. But why take that risk? It's nuts.

Sorry for writing so much, buy a professional product...people act like there's no difference between wal mart hair care and professional... there is.
