Honestly when I use fake lashes for dance competitions I just take them off with my hands and it's fine, or use water and slowly take them off

If it scares you then use eye makeup remover and rub that on the base of them with a q-tip until they start to come off

You should use lotion and using a cotton ball slowly wipe your eye, & it slips right off (:

Liquid makeup remover and a cotton ball, press onto the leftover glue to remove :) neutrogena makes a good one.

What I did was fill a bowl with hot water.. The steam will react with the lashes.. Put your head over the bowl with a towel Round you and also every 5 mins put olive oil on the lid where the lash is..and they eventually come off.. Hope this helped 😘they are a pain but so amazing hahah.

You're talking about eyelash extensions right?
Jun 19, 2013
Alyssa U.
If you are talking about Lash Extensions (individual lashes applied with a semi-permanent glue meant to last 2-6 weeks with regular touch ups) DO NOT try to remove them with soap, water, lash glue remover, makeup remover, or steam. Lash extensions are meant to be removed my the professional who applied them. If you try to remove them yourself you will also rip out your natural lashes.
I would never suggest you try and remove them your self, but at this point it sounds like you have already tried. So use oil, any and every oil (that you feel is same to use on your eyes) baby oil, coconut oils, olive oil.
But I do highly suggest having the lash extension it's who applied them remove them.
If however you managed to keep false lashes on for two weeks (that must be some sort of a record) them yes makeup remover should work.
I really hope your lashes are okay. Try and find Lilash if you happened to hurt your natural lashes. :(

Exactly what Alyssa said. DON't PULL! If they're lash extensions, those lashes are adhered to your actual lash with a very strong glue. If you pull them, you're pulling out your real lashes :( your eyelashes cycle out, just like your hair. I would wait for them to fall out naturally, or if you really want them off go back to the person that did them.
But yes haha if they're store bought fakies holy moly I'd like to know how you got those suckers to stay on for so long!
I think all the previous comments (except Alyssa!) thought you were talking about fake lashes, not lash extensions. If what I'm thinking is right, don't take their advice! They are very different things and you can really hurt your lashes :(

@Emily Yes you're right they are lash extensions. sorry for the confusion
