I wanted to know if brushing your hair is a vital role in having healthy hair? my hair looks so poofy and terrible when I brush it, but I know it's good to brush to move the oils to the rest of your hair. Can I just brush it before bed instead?

I don't brush my hair I comb it all the time you don't have to but if you must you can use like a wig brush to reduce frizz

Yes. You should always brush your hair in the morning and after a shower. Unless you want dreadlocks ;)

If you don't want to brush it try using a wing brush or brush it after washing an then just braid it in pigtails you can also skip the blow dryer

People with curly hair tend not to brush. I have natural curl so I use a wide tooth comb on damp hair and only brush when I flat iron my hair

I do not brush my hair. My hair is about mid back right now, usually kept between waist and tailbone length. Do not brush your hair right after showering! Brushing hair when wet is bad! The hair is weak and it will cause more breakage and split ends. I finger comb my hair to detangle.

@Alexa, you can brush with a boars hair bristled brush to bring the oils down the shaft then re-wet the whole thing throughly with water and just shake it at the root with your hands to break it up slightly. At that point don't do any brushing, combing, or running your hands through it.

Never brush it right out f the shower, but I hardly brush my hair, and mines perfectly fine, just need a little detangler when you choose too! But it's fine.

I usually just comb my hair after I get out of the shower and that's it
I usually put in a detangler in it before combing or I comb it while I have a hair mask on

I don't brush mine unless I am trying to do something weird with it. it is wayy too frizzy for that. I lied. I brush maybe 3 times a month to make sure the tangles are outt. :))

Curls can be a hassle... *sigh* lol but I love them. I have such frizzy hair and so many split ends even when I get it trimmed every 3 months. :/ Any products you all can recommend? Also, sorry for the late response :)
