Go casual. Like not sweatpants daily but barely anybody wears skirts on a day to day basis. Go with jeans maybe ripped and mocasins or sandals.

I personally like creating outfits even for school so I will wear skirts and dresses.. That's just my style.. I kinda hate pants/jeans at the moment and I'm trying to wear them more
But you will most likely find a style ;) have fun

Alot of the girls at my school dress up and a lot never/almost never wear skirts or dresses. Just go with what you are comfortable with. Maybe get one skirt for school to start, look around the first few days, and then go from there! Every school is different so just look first.
