I do this too! I mix castor oil and jojoba oil (this was recommended to me by someone who gave me a facial) and slather on my face and then put honey on top and let it sit for 30+ minutes. This has helped my acne, acne scars, and has made my skin SO soft!

Heather, I want to try this on my combo skin so bad... but I am on Retin A and supposed to STAY on it. Do you know if I can do the Oil Pull before applying Retin A? Or is that just all wrong? I'm 37 and only concerned with ageing/wrinkles.
Thanks in advance :)

Adrienne- Hi, I'm a cosmetologist. If your dermatologist has told you to stay on retina a then I would stick with that. If you arent happy with the results then express your concerns with your doctor so they can help you adjust your skin care properly.

Hi Dina, thanks :) I wanted to use the oil method to remove my makeup at end of the day with out pulling and tugging at my skin. If I got the oil residue off my face and waited a few hours before applying Retin A, do you think that may work?
