I've have a similar problem. It sounds like you got the getting rid of the pimple down, so that's good.
I have really really pale skin and finding a concealer that doesn't look like I took a brown marker to my face is really hard. So, instead I started to mix my own.
I suggest you take whatever foundations you have and a concealer in a shade a little lighter than your normal skin tone (I use 4 plus a white pencil as my concealer, cuz I'm so pale).
Then it's a matter of mixing them together and adjusting the color depending on how much sun you got. Make sure you don't mix too much; only enough to cover the area. Then apply with clean fingers in a tapping circular motion. Don't just rub it in like you do with moisturizer. The tapping is very important. Then blend the edges of your concealer outwards. I usually set it with a powder, but if the rest of your face doesn't have powder, try a setting spray, or keep a little extra handy for touch ups.
I had to try a few times to get the color just right.
I hope this helps!
