Alright so I'm looking for a hot pinky purple lipstick to wear this weekend. hopefully something I can buy at the drugstore by a brand like revlon because so far I can only find more expensive brands making shades like these.

I say make your own... try using a nude lip stick as a base and if you have a eyeshadow in that color or similar to it, pack that on your lips then cover with clear lip gloss. worth a shot :)

Not that I've seen. The closest may be Girl About Town but I'm looking for something as bright as that but with more purple tones to it. Also I'm looking for a drugstore brand dupe.

There's a new product from Covergirl called Blastflipstick and 815 Flashy has a vibrant purple (similar to MAC's Violetta).
Also NYC's Ultra Last Lipwear in 405B is a bright fuchsia colour.

I think that MAC's Show Orchid would be a close match, description-wise, since it does have that purple/fuschia undertone, but a good drug store dupe for this is NYC Blue Rose (405), as Heather mentioned, and also, Revlon's Wild Orchid is also really close.

I love how 'Vamp it up' from wet n wild looks! You can also try applying a hotpink lipgloss on top to make it more pinky/purple.

The CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipstick in Divine is a great bright pinky-purple color if you want something without shimmer. I would say the CoverGirl Blast flipstick in Flashy or Loreal's Sea Fleur are great colors if you're looking for something with shimmer.

I ended up getting Maybelline's colorsensational lipstick in Fuschia Fever. Awesome color! But Im also going to purchase some of these recommendations soon, starting with Covergirl's Divine, mmm. I love the different colors you can find within the pinky purple color range.
