I use coconut oil mixed with castor oil in an empty mascara wand and tube I ordered on ebay and I think it works great...it is moisturizing for lashes as well!

I use castor oil and Vaseline it defiantly worked for me with in two weeks my damaged torn lashes started mending and I couldn't believe it now you just use it after taking off my makeup after putting on my face cream just to continue to keep them strong bc they used to rip in half and pull out when curling my lashes even when there was nothing on my lashes when curling
