They work well for me but I don't die my hair that much and don't use a lot of heat, but when I started using those products my hair was damaged and they helped a lot! I have oily hair as well, start washing it every other day it's going to be oily but if you stick to it your hair will get used to it!

It gets oily within a day. I just washed it yesterday now it's oily. I'm trying to keep the red bright as much as I can but that's hard with how oily it is.

Just put conditioner on your ends and make sure you rinse it all out in the shower. I always run my hands throw my hair which adds to making it oily so if you do that try to stop. Also maybe try some dry shampoos, I've never used them but I know they have helped some people

I'd definitely suggest using dry shampoo to freshen up your roots without so much washing.

My sister had a problem with oily hair and she used the dry shampoo :-) If you wash your hair to often, it will get oily! So you need to stop washing so often, once or twice a week is enough :-) You hair should get used to not beeing washed, and your problem should be solved :-)

I've tried both the shampoo and conditioner but it dried my hair out. I'm not sure why because I've heard so many good things about the line. I dye my hair about once a month!

It helps with the damage but not the oil.

Your hair gets extra oily because you wash it everyday, you should wash it every other day even if you see its oily, once you get that routine going your hair should get better

Just spray some dry shampoo on your hair when it's greasy so you don't have to wash it everyday.

I'd try co-washing your hair. Basically just use conditioner and that's it. That's what I've started doing with my hair because I've noticed that even shampoo that is supposed to moisturize it was leaving it dry. So now I just condition and rinse and it's in much better condition. It doesn't really get greasy either. I can't not "wash" my hair each day or I do feel gross so the co-washing really has helped with that. I've used dry shampoo and its always been hit or miss for me so I don't like it personally but it may help you if the co-washing doesn't.

If you get that oily your skins pH is off on your scalp from whatever shampoo you are using and washing it every day just makes it worse every other day is suffice and use a boar bristle brush at night to get your natural oil down the hair shaft and to your ends. Place some of your shampoo in a different bottle and add some baking soda to really cleanse your hair thoroughly- it will also help with the "oily". Also what tempt of water do you wash your hair in? Reds are not easy to keep. Whenever I do red I like to use a semi permanent to freshen the color in between coloring instead if re coloring with a more permanent dye- it causes more damage- semi or demi permanent would be better choices- also red hair- washing it everyday- you are going to be coloring the heck out of it just to keep the color! especially if you use too warm of water or hot water- use as cool as water as you can stand to shampoo & condition. It will help.

I'd suggest getting some professional products. they are more expensive but you can use less because they are a concentrate. the reason I'm saying to get professional is because unless that says color safe it will fade your hair faster. redken has one specifically for reds, its a 10 has an amazing moisturizing and hair mask... also don't use repairing shampoos and conditioners every time you was your hair because too much protein can dry your hair. as for the oilyness don't put the conditioner on your scalp and try not to rub your hair a lot. and to keep your color longer mix the manic panic in your conditioner.
