Ombre Gone Bad

Back in March during spring break, I did ombre to my hair. I tried to wait and see if it would get better over time, unfortunately it didn't. It doesn't even fade or anything just a light brown straight to blonde. It usually looks yellow too. It completely fried my hair in that part where I got it bleached. Should I cut it off? It'll be a good 4 inches moat likely. :( But I want my hair to look good not bad. What do you thin I should do?

Cut it, and let it grow back healthy.

You could use fillers and make it the color on top, also try penetrait by Sebastian, the conditioner and shampoo. I swear by it, and I have A LOT of shampoos and conditioners.

Thanks girls! I think I'm going to cut it, but I thought I'd get an opinion first.

I say give your hair a well deserved hot oil treatment, or a hair mask. Then if you must, give it a TRIM. Not a cut. When you trim your hair, it will grow naturally quicker and it will improve its overall health. Trim it every 4 weeks, and explain to the stylist you are growing it out so they don't cut too much. Good luck!

Cutting your hair will not make it grow faster. It will make it appear healthier. Your hair grows from your roots so cutting away at the end will not make it grow. If it really bothers you, dye your hair a shade darker and deep condition it. I fried my hair when I turned it from black to blonde in one session at the salon and the next day, I hated the color so I went back and made it darker. They gave me an oil treatment that really helped my hair. Just trim away an inch to make your hair look a little healthier and redo the coloring. You will need to take extra care of your hair until it grows out again though.
