Hi ladies and gents! Do any of you know what I can use to restore my hair's natural ph balance? Preferably something natural and not expensive.

Lush does shampoos which are natural and aren't harsh on your hair

Hi, I'm a cosmetologist! Lush is a great company. What is your complaint about your hair? What makes you think you're pH is off?

My scalp has been itchy since I had my now 2 year old but I don't have dandruff. My hair dresser suggested it.

Dry scalps and pH are two different things though, dry scalp can be a symptom of an unbalanced pH. I suggest massaging in some coconut oil and letting that sit for half an hour, using it all over your hair would be a good conditioning treatment too. Unless youre using chemical treatments like straighteners or perms your scalp should be in the same pH as the rest of your body.

If you really feel it is a pH thing then there are scalp treatment products you can get at your local beauty supply. Forgive me, I can't think of a specific brand to recommend but there should be someone working there with a license who can give you a suggestion.
