As much as I love all things that sparkle, especially on my nails--I hate when it's time to take it off! I've tried soaking the cotton ball and letting it sit on each nail one at a time, I've tried rubbing like a madwoman.....are there any amazing products or techniques anyone out there in BeautylishLand knows of and wants to share? Hopefully I'll have most of this polish off before 9pm tonight...lol

Acetone based nail polish will take it right off. No muss, no fuss.

Absolutely what Terra said. Soak a cotton ball in acetone, place it over the nail, wrap the tip of your finger in foil (regular kitchen foil) and wait five minutes, give it a squeeze as you remove and it should come right off. (do an entire hand at a time)
There are heaps of youtube vids on this method :)

PS obviously don't use acetone if you have falsies or tips

use acetone nail polish remover soaked on a cotton ball and wrap foil around it.
let it sit for a minute or two then it should come right off! :)

Acetone!! And just put a small piece of acetone-saturated cotton squares (not balls, they tear apart too easy) on each finger. Let it sit for around 20-30 seconds and it should wipe right off!

I agree with the foil method :) I also like Beauty Secrets Pure Acetone Remover from Sally's. It works really good at getting glitter off, but it dries your finger tips out.

Thanks guys for all your input! Just so you know, my hubby saw me doing the foil method and said it's probably not a good idea because that's the same technique he uses in the garage to strip paint off plastic (motorcycle fairings)..so basically wrapping the foil trapping the fumes around our fingers isn't the best idea...I told him sacrifices must be made and to hush...but just some food for thought ;)

Nail grade pure acetone is ok to soak on your nails wrapped in foil for a short time... But to prevent dehydration to your nail plate and surrounding skin put a few drops of cuticle oil on each finger then apply acetone foil wraps. Once your done be sure to wash your hands because acetone will continue to stay on your nails and cause more dehydration... So tell your husband if he wants you to be gorgeous then these are the necessary steps it takes. Hehe ;)

Try painting a thin layer of Elmer's glue before adding your polish. All of the polish will scrape right off with a cuticle stick :)

It's probably not the best thing to do to your nails but I file the top layer (aka glitter) off and find it so easy to remove the polish affer

Use a base coat of white school glue before the glitter. When you're ready to take it off, it just peels off =)

I agree with Bailey, its way easier(: DIY Peel Off Basecoat<3

Remover that is 100% acetone comes right off

But be careful with 100% Acetone as it is VERY drying. I reccomend washing hands with soap then apply a lotion afterwards. (:
