For shampoo and conditioner, I use the Loreal EverPure Sulfate-Free color care treatment! I touched up on my hair probably a little over a month ago, and my hair is still red. Not as vibrant, but still red :)

To keep it bright, I use crazy colours hair dye, a small amount mixed in with my conditioner! It helps it stay bright. :)

Don't wash your hair everyday. I did mine once a week with John Frieda red and it lasted 3 months. If you're hair starts feeling oily, use dry shampoo and once your ready to actually wash use cold cold water.

Red=hard work I was the same... Found like the others use cold water and don't wash everyday dry shampoo is brill... I put dye in shampoo n conditioner although I found a mild baby type shampoo is a bit better at holding colour doesn't strip it as fast.. It will still fade :( I go pink to orange quite often :D

I rinse in cold water, wash my hair twice a week with avedas color conserve shampoo and condition with the roux refresh mask in fire red (I SWEAR BY THIS STUFF, ITS AT SALLYS) and moroccanoil hydrating mask. I use dry shampoo to get me through between washings. But seriously the roux refresh mask is the best thing ever, its a colored deep conditioner, my red has barely faded and its been a month and a half since I last colored it! You have to be careful with red shampoos and conditioners because majority of them get their pigment from hennq, which is bad, so double check the ingredients on your john feida! (:

A great way to lock in reds is to apply a glaze immediately after your color, they're acidic color.. which means it'll close the cuticle of your hair!
