This is burning? Is it supposed to? And what can I do to calm the irritation.?

It'll prob sting a little but if its full on burning then try aloe vera, cold cream or any sort of moisture-restoring cream. Don't wash/scrub anymore, that'll make it worse.

I would not reccommend it, my friends and I used it and we started burning.. And it got red.
