One product isn't going to do the trick totally! I get dry patches around my temples and on my forehead, I use the Body Shop vitamin E lotion religiously, and it does a great job keeping my skin moisturized. I do have dry-normal skin, so I found that the biggest difference I've made is changing my foundation to something more hydrating and that will soothe the dry patches - try NARS Sheer Glow, MAC Studio Sculpt, or Make Up Forever HD Foundation.

Best of luck! xx

All my creams (like day-, night- and eyecream, bodylotion and even lip balm) are with urea, it really, really helps me with dry patches and dry skin in general. Maybe you could try that and see if it helps.
(Can't recommend products though, because the ones I use are only available in Germany and Austria as far as I know)

maybe you should try out the BIOTHERM AQUASOURCE 48HR.- this works.. before i got this, a had really big issues with dry patches, nomatter the foundation i used.. i know Aquasource is expensive, but it really makes a huuuuge difference. One more thing, a little bit of aquasource goes a long long looong way. :) for my skin and the issues i have, it's so worth the money :)

You're gonna need a moisturizer with vitamins A and E. I've been using Somme Institute's A-Bomb and it is really moisturizing. I have a friend that gets extremely dry skin in the winter and she's been loving A-Bomb. It helps a lot with dry patches and keeps the skin moisturized so when you apply makeup-- it doesn't look flakey!

Hope this helps :)

I love bag balm. It smells horrible but it works WONDERS. I have eczema on my legs and arms and I use bag balm on them at night and by morning the dryness is almost completely gone! If you use only a little bit and rub it in really well the smell fades, so that's good too :)

As much as you'd want to exfoliate the nasty dry patches away, try to do it once a week and no more because over-exfoliation can actually cause the dry patches.

And serums will definitely help. Most are anti-aging, but you can find some other alternatives for dehydrated skin or large pores (which really does help to smooth away the dryness, surprisingly).
