1) I have combination skin and I use the Skin79 Super+ BB Cream. I always apply a setting powder after using BB cream. How long the product stays depends on what kind of environment I'm in. When I was traveling in Costa Rica last month, I noticed that it didn't stay on my face as long as it usually does.

2) I got mine for about $15. This is the seller I bought it from: http://www.amazon.com/SKIN79-Triple-Function-Autheticity-Perforations/dp/B004R5E12M/ref=pd_sim_bt_4

3) I don't think a primer is necessary since one of BB cream's purpose is to serve as a primer. I think the BB cream does a good job of covering hyperpigmentation. But if you want more coverage, I'd suggest using a concealer before applying the BB cream.

Hmmm. Well if I would spend $$$ on any of the BB creams I would buy the smashbox one because IT IS a moisturizer, primer, has some coverage and it also has SPF.

1) I know this type of product was originally from the Asian countries and are very popular over there but I would rather buy a product that has been tweaked...thus the smashbox one.

2) Not familiar with products not found in stores in the US, sorry , but I do know that the smashbox bb cream is approximately $39.

3) I would recommend using some sort of powder to set this product. Like I said, the smashbox bb cream IS a primer, moisturizer, SPF and has coverage so it's like a new form of BB cream I believe.

Here is a link to the official Skin79 North American website with the hotpink BBcream($28). http://www.skin79northamerica.com/catalogue/detail/flypage/86-hot-pink-super-plus-beblesh-balm-40g?sef=hfp
As much as I love Amazon, I would not buy BB cream on there as there are many fakes. Good luck!

I think the Clinique BB cream may work for you. The girl at the counter said it was a matte formulation. I got a sample, and found on my combination/dry skin, it really dried my skin out. So that could work. It is around $32, but maybe go to a clinique counter get matched and see if they won't squirt out a bit of a sample for you to try out.

As someone who has been into the eastern side of the world, both entertainment and cosmetic wise for years and years, if you really want a BB cream, ditch the American BS and stick with the actual BB creams in Asia. The western world trying to make "BB creams" just... grinds my gears, man.

Unless you want just a tinted moisturizer, then by all means go with the American "bb" stuff, ;D, haha. And where to buy it.... rubyruby76 is a legitimate shop and sells BB cream. I've purchased from her a few times (not bb cream but other things) and have had no issues.

And I'd use a moisturizer before putting the bb cream on anyway. I would never put face makeup on without using moisturizer first. I'd' just primer too. Maybe not as much as I would on things that aren't bb cream, but at least a little just for reassurance.

Hi! Skin79 is really the go to BB cream. All the other (Asian) brands are iffy. Western BB creams aren't really BB creams either. Only thing I haven't noticed people mention is you can use different BB creams for different seasons. I live in Singapore, hot and humid, plus I have combination skin so I use Skin79 Hot Pink. However, whenever I travel anywhere dry and/or cold, I use Skin79 Gold. Thought you should consider this too!

I have combination skin which is more too oily than dry, and i have acne prone skin too, so i've been using Missha M Vita BB Cream since last year, and actually its works pretty good at controling the oil on my face

I have combo skin that leans more on the oily side especially in my t-zone. I may have a few visitors during that time of the month (lovely acne) but for the most part my skin remains clear. I rely on Smashbox BB Cream and I keep my skincare pretty simple anyway prior to application. I use a Vitamin C&E serum followed by a SPF 15 moisturizing sunscreen and then I wait about 5-10 minutes before applying the applying the BB cream. I apply it with a fingers in sections and then I set it with Too Faced Trans. Powder with a powder puff. I've been using it for several months now and I love it. It doesn't slide or fade after 8 hours of wear in humid Florida weather and it hasn't led me to break-outs. It does a great job at keeping my t-zone from looking like a oil slick which I love. My only complaint that I have about it is that I noticed if I get a little heavy handed with my matte bronzer it will oxidize wherever I applied the bronzer giving me that orange face after 8 hours of wear. Other than that it works well with my powdered and cream blushes and sometimes I use it under my eye area if I don't feel like bothering with concealer. It gives me a nice polished look without looking completely matte and I would consider the coverage overall to light to medium for me personally.
