CC: color correction
BB: beauty balm (7-in-1)
Personally I feel both are good for all types of skin types, you could always put a pressed power over your T-zone to insure the shine won't show through.

CC cream is as Alyssa said CC stands for “color correcting” and the are meant to address issues like redness or sallowness usually with light-diffusing particles, whereas BB creams are like lighter foundation with a few skin care benefits thrown in.
It really depends on the brand because they're all different. I know Estee Lauder "day wear" BB cream is great for oilier & acneic skin. I have combination skin and I am in LOVE with Diorskin nude BB cream, I just set it with a little powder & setting spray and it stays put all day without looking oily. Just shop around and see which one suits you! You can get samples from sephora & I'm sure someone there would be happy to help.=]
