When I notice some acne I wash my face, tweeze incase of ingrown hairs, pop the pimple (optional), then I apply clean and clear salicylic acid.

If you're face is sensitive like mine, I suggest using an extremely gentle face was such as Cetaphil and the lotion as well. You don't realize how much acne pops up just because your face is agitated... Like look at me before and after about a month...

Proactive only works on certain people. My acne is because of puberty... If store bought acne medicine dosent work (give it a month), then try going to the dermatologist.

I'd say go for Cetaphil cleanser since its gentle. Wash your face with that. Then wash your face again but add white table sugar to exfoliate. Then use a toner (no alcohol) some say witch hazel but it can be very stripping. So rose water? It's natural and works or find something you like. Then use benzoyl peroxide on blemishes. You can find it at the drugstore. Target has their own version. Then a moisturizer thats oil free and preferably has SPF to prevent any post inflammatory hyperpigmention left after blemishes has gone and healed. Just something simple but you have to find what works for your skin. You're young, your hormones are wacko. Just take good care of your skin early. Tea tree oil is good but takes a few days sometimes to see results. Baking soda with a little water makes a great paste to spot treat or as a mask.

THe thing is never to pop them... my mum yesterday had brought me a face washer and it definetly makes a difference after using it today but I need to still continue to use it.. I reckon use a face wash with tree oil in it :) hope it helps!
