What's the best, safest way to get a nice natural tan? also, if anyone has tips for a pale girl with freckles, they would be much appreciated.XD

I'm right with you Brianna, pale and freckled! Sorry I can't offer any help, but I'd love to find an answer too! I burn like a lobster and can't find a self tanner that doesn't make me look like a streaky oompa loompa xD

the jergens body moisturizing gradual tan lotion is really good. it gradual tans you. it doesnt streak and the tan is a natural tan it isn't orange or odd colored. and the product smells great! i used it last summer. they offer it in 2 shades. i got the lighter choice because i wanted a more realistic natural tan and not go extreme dark. i am very pale usually. and have freckles.

i've heard amazing things about fake bake "flawless"! it's a self tanner that doesn't streak or stink, i'm pale too with loads of freckles everywhere so I'm going to give it a try myself! you can get it at ulta or on amazon for about half the price.

If you don't want to look like a Dorito I suggest Jergen's Natural Glow moisturizer body lotion. It's gradual and you won't look orange.
I'm pale too and it gives me a lovely glow.

Use a good self bronzer! i have the same problem and use Mary Kay ones.You put it all over your body,and wait some hours,or sleep with it,READ HOW USE IT.And DON'T FORGET to exfoliate your elbow,your knees,the separations of you fingers and your foot,places in your body that have more melanin,and of course if you go to the street in a sunny day,don't forget the sunscreen lotion! . the MARY KAY's self bronzers are the BEST! see what is best for you

loreal sublime bronze is a great self tanner for the face/stomach/chest/arms but if you try it be very careful on your legs around the knees, but it doesnt streak and wont give you a orange look i was worried about that to when i tried it, but it worked really well,the whole next day i got compliments on how tanned i looked.

ive heard that jergens takes about 7 days to get you to the darkest it will but that is what the compinie adverises

I am freckled and fair hopefully I can help out! I go to sally's beauty supply and pick up sunless tanners two of the best that I have been using for 2 years now are Toma's tanning lotion and Tanwise sunless tanning lotion! You need to exfoliate, moisturize, then apply the lotion allover with gloves and you want to apply it generously! I usually put it on before I go to bed because you look pretty streaky but the formula takes up to 3 hours to build up on the skin so by the time you wake up in the morning its safe to shower the remaining tanner off and when you do you will be left with an even, natural looking bronze tan. I love these two products because they make me look as tan as I did when I would tan outside or in the beds. And they are both under 15$ =]

And to make the tan last longer I apply the Jergens in the darkest shade daily and that will keep me bronze for about 3 weeks and then I will need to put the other stuff on again! So its not a bad system and is wayy better for your skin than tanning
