I always for my "hard hand" first. That way it's done and over with hahah I wish I had better advice, but I'm horrible at painting nails!

Here's a trick you can do with designs like flowers etc.I'm not sure if you can do it with aztec nails well you might be able to try this, put your dry nail in a plastic ziplock bag, so you know how long and big to make the design then paint the design on your nail in the bag. so you would be painting the bag not your actual nail then let the design dry on the bag then when the design is dry put top coat on it to seal it all together then let it dry after that is dry very carefully peel the design off the bag it should be like a sticker now put the sticker on your left fingers and make it stay by putting topcoat on your nail and let dry I hope this helps.

Its OK if you mess up with your left hand. you can always clean it up after. you just have to practice and practice. it helps too if you try practicing writing with your left hand. gives you more coordination... that's how I got good with it.

Try starting out with designs that don't have to look symmetrical, like leopard, until you get used to the left hand more.

Always start painting with your non-dominate hand. In time, it will actually make it a lot easier to paint it.
