Warm/cool tones?

Silly question, how do i tell if i am warm or cool toned. i know its simple but i forgot. lol.

One easy way to tell is if you tan in the sun you're warm toned, but if you burn/turn pink you are cool toned.

Often people say to look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. If they seem quite blue, generally you'd be considered cool (pink). If they seem to lean more green'ish, generally you'd be considered warm (yellow). Also, they say that if you look better in silver jewellery, cool.. gold jewellery, warm; though this can be a bit questionable given personal preferences.

Consider that you might be more neutral or even olive toned as well. Also, when you're checking.. don't use the skin on your face. Look to your neck or upper check, since most people (regardless of undertone) tend to carry a flush to their face that can lead to a bad match.

I'm a mix of different tones. My face is cool, but my neck and chest are warm so I always match foundations to my neck and chest.

When I match others, I always look at their neck to see if they're is a yellow or pink tint.

does your skin tend to look a slight bit pink? that's mean your cool. or does your skin look a slight bit yellow? that's be warm. This isn't the easiest way to tell but I find it helpful.
