Ladies lets admit it we can't stay out the HEAT even if we tried. I have thick black hair, hit the curling iron everyday and instead of getting a hair cut all the time whats the BEST heat protection?

I have used both V05 and Suave heat defense, they seem to work well for me, but I also use damage care shampoo/conditioner. I have heard good things about CHI, but have never tried it. Sorry I couldnt be much help :/ Good Luck!

The Treseme Heat Protectant works amazingly well but recently I've been loving the Aussie Heat Protecting Shine spray which works well and smells delicious. If you're applying heat everyday I'd try using a good hair mask or deep conditioner as often as you can to help replenish the moisture in your hair and keep it from drying out. Hope this helps :)

I sometimes use the Tresseme Heat Protector or the Got2B Guardian Angel one for flat ironing. Right now though, I like using the Cantu Shea Butter Grow Strong Strengthening Treatment. I like it for adding back protein into my hair after a chemical process and to protect my hair when I'm straightening it.

I agree with Landrey S. Also, if you don't have argan oil, then use a coconut oil spray on your hair (in moderation)

Hair is made of proteins and flat ironing hair destroys the protein. I do protein treatments with Nutress Hair protein packs every time I wash and flatiron my hair. I use "It's a 10 miracle leave in product" It's a leave in conditioner but it's an amazing heat protectant as well! It does ten things for your hair one of them being it protects your hair from heating tools.

My FAV is the Pro Naturals moroccan argan oil heat protectant, best one ever!!!! Problem is that it's so hard to get because it's always sold out :( But when I get some it's heaven for my hair, lol. Makes it so SOFT and shiny I can't get over it. :D

I received my Karmin Heat Protection & Shining Spray with Argan Oil just before Christmas and I tried it on fairly damp hair then blow dried on a warm setting & used my Salon Series hair straightener to curl under my hair. It worked well and it certainly does add a shine to my white/grey hair. I have decided to alternate between this and the Pro Naturals Moroccan argan oil leave in treatment as they both have argan oil as an ingredient.
