How do you match makeup with your skin tone?

Go to a mac store and get your skin tone matched. From there, use that skin code to buy the right shade. It's really handy!
Or do what Seng Yeng mentioned at the drugstore. Don't try it on your face, just your hand, to be sanitary. :)

First you need to figure out if you have a cool undertone or warm. cool undertone doesn't necessarily mean lighter skinned. and warm doesn't mean darker skinned. If you look better in silver then your cool toned and if gold looks better on you then your warm toned. thats just one of the ways to figure it out. you might also be neutral (: and you want your foundation to match your neck

Apply a line running from the bottom of your cheek, over your bottom jaw bone onto you neck, if it's the correct colour you won't be able to see much difference in your natural skin tone and the makeup, thus not having to blend like crazy.
