What is the best way/technique for applying powder foundation?

Use a small/stippling brush to apply to problem areas, then a large brush to cover the face!

First, have a good brush. I recommend a Powder Brush, Dome Brush, or a Stifling Brush. Dip the brush into the powder, then TAP OFF the extra, never blow. Sweep in across your face lightly. Then blend it so it looks smooth. :) Use a downward sweeping motion because you are laying the hairs flat. Don't apply list of pressure, and go with the curves of your face. Good luck, and hope this helped. :)

Using duo fiber brushes are great for light coverage because they pick up about half the amount of product a dense brush would.

I use a large, fluffy brush. First, I make sure it's a good colour, then I use the brush to swirl in the powder, then tap the side to relive excess. I use large circular motions to apply the powder, and short, dense strokes on my t-zone, specifically around my nose, be sure to use sweeping light motions going downwards on places in which you could accidentally highlight hair with the powder :) most of all- make sure it's natural :D

Use a powder puff and press I onto the skin lightly and use a powder brush to knock the excess off.

Use a flat top kabuki brush, I feel like with soft fluffy brushes you lose a lot of product. xx
