Yes, after few good weeks of using it as part of my morning routine I get the hype. It really helps with acne and other skin issues although in my case I need to moisturise well after as my face feels tad dry. But benefits of using it are visible.
If you want to try I would look for proper certified fairtrade ghanaian or nigerian black soap. There are plenty substitues on the market but they are not as good as real thing in my opinion with added extra stuff. Brands like Shealife or Akoma or simply raw soap package handmade in Ghana.

I just bought some and have been using it for about four days. I've been pretty please so far, but haven't seen incredible results. I have heard, however, that it can take some time to see the benefits.

I would recommend you try and get it at a health food store thats where you will find the real one. The ones they sell at walmart and target are not the real thing they have additives in them.
