Does aloe vera get rid of acne scars.

Well I have a small scar on my chin from a pimple and I heard aloe vera gel gets rid of it. Is this true does it really work? I have an aloe vera plant at home but does it work.

I've heard it does work! And it's good that you have the plant so you can get it from the source. I'd give it a shot, it certainly won't hurt.

Exfoliating is super effective at reducing the appearance of scars. exfoliate about 3 times a week c: I recommend using a natural face mask like used coffee grounds and egg whites (sounds gross but it works)

No but it reduces swelling and inflammation of any existing acne - vitamin c is the best way to heal scars look for fruits that are concentrated with it like lemon.

I use cucumber gel, n within a fortnight mark disappears, n for scar well try not pick your lesions, n apply mango butter, shea butter on d scar..

It does work like on new scars as well. Like they have vitamins in it. I used it for my scar on my forehead from when I fell and it helped a lot. Plus when I put it on around my scar I had no acne around it. Hope this helps.
