When I apply shimmer eye shadows to my lids they look great for 20 minutes. But after the 20 minute mark, they start to move into my crease and above. I've used about 90% of the eye primers and bases out there and it still happens. If anyone whose a makeup artist or a person who has extensive makeup knowledge could help that would be great. (No Offense to anyone else)

I think after you finish use little bit fan brush on the shimmer.

This means you have a high oil content in your skin. So shimmer may just not be your friends. Try using a concealer as your primer. I've never used primers just some concealer to the lid and have very little issues. Also if you are willing to spring for it, MAC pigments are great and generally stay where you put them. To a fault. Also co spidering dabbing you lids with blotting papers before you use the shimmers. This will help absorb the extra oils. My other suggestion is to try using a matte shadow under the shimmer to help lock it in place and for opacity. Problem is without experimenting with your skin type it's hard to give advice over the Internet for a quick fix cure all solution. Best of luck and I hope this helps!

Thanks Ladies! @ashlie j. I've tried using concealer as a primer but my eye shadow creases right away. I've used so many things to wipe the oil from my lids before applying anything and it still moves.

Along with the primer/concealer try doing another eyeshadow base under the shimmer like Ashlie suggested, a scream one would probably work best (like NYX in milk). Also try using a setting spray and/or powder. That's all I've got sweetie, good luck.

Thanks @Jacqueline @Brittany A. I tried the jumbo pencils and they one of my worst enemies. They crease like crazy on my eyes.

@Octavia Tried that stuff when I wanted my shimmers to look more metallic. It doesn't work...lol Thanks though.
