When planning makeup on a paper model, do you use real makeup, pencils/pens or other? I'm a bit lost on how to save my designs. thanks.

Unless you have the art tools to recreate exact shades, I would use real makeup. It's easier to see what shades you really have to work with. The colours on paper will be the same on the real model. :)
