I grab all of my hair like after I wake up without brushing then I just knot it in one elastic and tug to the way I want it.

Wash your hair and let it be natural, don't put hairspray or mousse or gel anything, just your natural dry hair, grab it all into one ponytail , & twist with a ponytail elastic, I twist 3 times but on the 3rd, don't completely twist like your making a ponytail, stop it half way. & its like a little bun lok

I think its easier to do it when your hairs wet, I flip my hair forward and grab then just kind of scrunch it and twist it to how you want and put a hair bobble round it then tug it and Bobby pin it:)

Messy buns aren't supposed to be perfect lol I just flip my head upside down mess my hair up throw it in a bun put bobby pins if needed and hairspray.
