I'm looking for a good moisturizer. I've tried the Clinique dramatically different one that is very popular and well loved and I hated it. I do have the Garnier Frutis Moisture Rescue Gel moisturizer, which I love. I'm looking for a higher end gel moisturizer for oily skin, any recommendations?

Did you try the Clinic dramatically different for oily skin? I'm pretty sure it's a gel-type consistency. I used to swear by their acne moisturizer, it kept my face matte all day. (might not be good if you'r enot acne prone though, may be too drying)

Korres pomegranate gel-cream moisturizer is awesome. You can buy the Proactiv green tea moisturizer separate from the kit, and that is absolutely fantastic as well. I agree that the Garnier one is fantastic. Since you didn't like the Clinique one and love the Garnier one, I say go for the Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer. It has roughly the same consistancy, the thing is that you have to buy it online. Buy it on Amazon, because if you buy it on the Proactiv website you have to sign up for this program thing... :P So yeah, but that one I think you'll like. :)

I've found a lot of gel moisturizers don't have enough moisture for me, which is odd since my skin it quite oily. I'm a huge fan of Embryolisse, their Lait-Creme Concentre is amazing.

Have you ever tested some basic moisturizer from your local pharmacy? Oily skin needs A LOT of moisture, not grease. You should also avoid any mineral oils or oils in generally. It's also good that the moisturizer is a gel-formula. At this moment I'm using a gel from the pharmacy and it's good :)

You could try a Neutragena mosturizer. It's also sunscreen so it's best if you put it on at night.

I like the Clinique Moisture Surge. It feels light and doesn't break me out (I have combination skin). But I'd only recommend it for the dry winter months because it could be a little too much when the weather is humid.

I personally hated Clinique's dramatically different too. It may sound odd but I actually like Clean & Clear's Dual Action Moisturizer. I have acne prone skin so I find it pretty good.

I have used Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and I liked it but not love it for moisture. I have used Ponds Hydrating Moisturizer and it is amazing!

Oops you said you hated that one! Sorry! Dermalogica makes a really good one too, it has salicylic acid in it...I think it's called just Oil Control Lotion. It's really amazing. About $40 and you can get it at Ulta.
