I do hair for a living. On average hair grows a quarter to half an inch a month. Regular trims keep splitting at bay but honestly water and a healthy diet are the only ways to "make it grow faster". Try massaging coconut oil into your scalp just after shampooing , leave it for ten minutes then rinse out with room temperature water. It has a ton of nutrients to encourage a healthy scalp which it turn encourages healthy strong hair. Also be sure to be nice to your hair, always use a thermal styling aid and make sure your hair products are low in alcohol and wax ( parabens) contents, as both are super drying and prevent moisture from getting into the individual strands. All you need for gorgeous is hair the proper product line up, a blow dryer and a round brush!

For growth, drink plenty of water daily and eat more proteins, fruit and veg (dark green veggies are the best). Massage your hair every day, wet or dry for about 10 mins and flip your head upside down for 20 seconds so that you can promote circulation in your scalp. Once or twice a week, massage your scalp with almond oil and leave it in for 15-30 minutes before washing it out. A healthy treatment does a lot to make your hair healthy, I use an argan oil from pro naturals and it works great.
