What are your views? I don't use them because they age your skin when your older..

Bad! My brother used them for his acne skin, now he looks older than my parents :(

I've only used tanning beds 3 times my whole life and that was 10 years ago. I'd rather be pale. I like that I don't look like everyone else. plus I like hearing how young I look lol. but on a serious note my mother and grandma both have had skin cancer so for me the choice is easy.

Bad bad bad, it increases your risk of melanoma which is the dangerous skin cancer by like 71% by tab inning in beds. Plus not to mention premature aging!! Stay pale or by sunless lotions there are so many good ones out there now.

BAD! Well, it is really bad for your skin. But, you do what you want ;) it won't make a bad person of you :) I understand that being pale is very disturbing for some girl. So of it can help you to feel better and more confident, I don't judge! I've been in the same situation a few years ago, but I quit using sunbeds and my skin is pale but it looks so much nicer!

I also used to use them not tons but sometimes to help my acne and cause I liked being tan but stopped a couple years ago cause of risk of skin cancer goes up so much if you use them and it damages your skin and causes wrinkles and even though you don't see the damage right away it shows up eventually and I didn't want that, I want to look as young as possible for as long as I can!! :-) so I started using a fake tanner that I love, and now I get to be tan and feel confident without damaging my skin :-) yay.

I used to tan a lot. I loved it! But I stopped... Not worth it... I want to stay looking young  :-)

Jamie what tanner do you use? I always see streaks when I go in the sun.

Bad! I tanned in beds for 6 months, my skin was dry, wrinkly, and it didn't look good. I'm trying to avoid the sun like the plague, but in south Florida, its kinda hard...lol It has taken me 8 years to get my skin back to glowing naturally. I would not recommend it...especially because of the increased risk of damage to your body later on.

Not good. They can help with things like psoriasis but the damage they do to the skin greatly outweighs any benefits that someone with normal skin would get. My mom used to tan all the time, and she got basal cell carcinoma. They had to cut out a quarter sized bit of skin from her cheek. And on my friends from a mom's board just had to get part of her scalp removed. it is not worth it. I'd rather keep wrinkle and scar free and if I want added color, they had products for that like instant self tanner and bronzer.
