Anyone tried Lush henna hair dye? They have a few products I want to try, but I'm tempted by the hair dye for the winter. Want to go a redish brown. :)

I love love Lush haha! My friend did, and the color always look great on her when she did it. Make sure to follow instructions but also read suggestions comments on Lush people say when using the hair dye :). Hope this helps

Also I bought the henna for my mom. She's going to try it out

For the longest time it was all I used. it made my hair soft and shiny and so healthy looking. the only things that sucked about it was it was super messy and near impossible to remove. never bleach your hair to remove it, it opens up the cuticle and pushes the henna deeper in to the strand. I wanted to dye my hair purple, so I bleached it and my hair turned green. you just have to let it grow out. but it's pretty versatile, I used to mix the black, brown and red together to vet get the desired shade. I really liked it for the most part.

I tried it yesterday and it worked perfectly. only negative thing was that it started to crumble out of my hair after a while cause the cocoa butter turns solid after cooling down.. dark crumbs everywhere in my flat >_< I would do it in my garden and stay outside for the 2 hours next time.

Just wear a shower cap and wear gloves, I find the longer you leave it in, the better. if the cocoa butters in it make your hair greasy, just shampoo your hair a couple times to get it out. the cocoa butters always made my hair greasy, but my hair is really thin and fine.
