So I heard if you put honey and lemon on your hair it will make it lighter? I have dark brown-almost black hair. I just wanna "dye" the ends to make it ombré. Do you think it will work? Is my hair color too dark?

What you do is twice a day, spray the water and lemon mixer on to your hair and sit in the sun for 2-3 hours. Come back inside and respiratory the mixture and go out in the sun for another half hour. It will take about five weeks or more.

I use chamomile tea and lemon for my blonde hair. It does work but you have to put it on everyday and go out in the sun with it (It's best to do it in the summer). My hair got a lot lighter but with dark brown hair, it may turn reddish or orange, google some before after pictures.

@Hailey p. that's weird, I've been doing it for three years and it always works, maybe you didn't put enough on your hair? Please don't bleach your hair that's the worst thing you can do to it, it strips your hair and makes it feel fake. If you still want a natural/organic way to do ombre then you can use henna on the ends.
