beauty blogs, YouTube tutorials, makeup books from book stores are helpful as well. but the more you practice on yourself & others, the better/faster you get!

Just do it yourself. I never learned anything off of YouTube.. Or books or well anything. So practice does make perfect.

Practice :-) as for YouTube, look for channels that teach on how to the whole face, choosing the right colours etc (instead of just explaining the eye makeup). Lisa Eldridge and TheMakeUpChair are my personal favourites! Good luck :)
