I recently cut my hair to my chin. At first I loved it, but now it's getting to be a disaster. I have been thinking about getting extensions, but I know it's expensive.. What do y'all think?

Do only clip in's. So then that way when you gain some growth with your real hair you can take those clip in's out with quickness (I noted you were impatient so I took that into consideration) if you find a style worth trying with your natural hair. :)

I've used all kinds of hair extensions. I used to have long, waist length hair that I cut to my collar bone. it's growing now & its a little longer but I want it to be even longer. out of all the extensions I've tried, I like the microbead ones the best. they don't damage your hair & they stay in.. so you don't have to put them in everyday! I've had tons of clip in extensions & I like them at first but if you have thick hair, they become a pain in the butt because they get heavy, & somehow my clips always started to show by the end of the day. I like the microbead ones because they stay in your head, they don't hurt, they're not heavy & I think they look the most natural.
