Take a light color lipstick and apply to your upper lip than apply you usual lipstick they should be the same color after that.

You can't lighten your lips hun but you can put concealer over your lips before your lipstick on so you have a even color.

I use a MAC pro item Lip Erase in the shade "dim". It basically mutes out the pigmentation in my lips but it involves some prep work to make it WORK.lol. Lately though I've been reaching for shades in my stash that are super opaque and richly pigmented so essentially I have no need to wear Lip Erase with every lippie.

I agree with Traci...start with applying concealer or foundation over your upper lip to lighten it alittle.

Concealer will do the trick and your lipstick will stay on longer.

Yeah, it's not possible to lighten your lips. I would just buy a high coverage concealer and apply it on your lips.

Using a lip primer or even trying a milk pencil, like from nyx...then using your lip color will help.
