Dye my hair

Saturday the 18th I'm going to the salon to dye my hair, but I still don't know what colour... This my hair is know light brown (kind of) my own hair colour is actually dark dark brown (almost black) should I go for the light brown colours that I had before and is a dark red colour something!? I'm really confused still don't know what to do.. Help me please?
