So do you basically use a curling wand in really low heat to make soft loose curls? Or is there another technique?

I curl it the night before by the time you wake up its loose and messy that's the way uh huh uh huh I like it lol.

I use this sock trick where I roll my hair up a sock like as if the sock was a curler, and I tie it in a knot around my hair and sleep. Next morning take it out and comb it with your fingers. Search up "paper bag curls" and use socks instead. Hope it helped.

Use a wide barrel curling wand and brush out the curls a bit.
