I was just reading about paraben and phalates, but could not find what makeup brands have no paraben and phalates. Please help and is it really helpful to use makeup without these ingredients?

Clinique and body shop (don't know if they have it where you live...) Those are clean and also good if you are allergic.

Try googling it. Organic and natural products don't. Idk if the body shop is paraban free because I have a body butter that has methyparaban and propylparaban in it.

Laura Geller Cosmetics = AWESOME *Paraben free & mineral oil free* I accidentally bought a few of her powders from a friend who works at sephora not realizing what I bought and when I used I was very happy with em! I'm trying not to use makeup with the paraben anymore bc my pores get so clogged. Also, target has a few brands of skin care / face washes & masks that are paraben and mineral oil free. I've been using for about a week now & I'm very happy 😉

Thanks girls, but is using makeup with paraben really that harmful? Because none of the best brands (well maybe there's a few) we use are paraben free.

Personally its not the parabens that make me nervous but the preservatives used to extend shelf life of the products we use. One of which I recently learned my skin can no longer tolerate...phrnoxyethanol. That is in a lot of stuff and I had to toss out a lot of makeup because it. Parabens haven't affected my skin at all.

*oops...misspelled phenoxyethanol

I'm really having a duh moment. Parabens are in a class of preservatives. There are preservatives more dangerous than this one. I need to go back to sleep.lol.

You can look up the cosmetic ingredients for any brand by going to www.cos.dna/eng they will analyze the ingredients and provide a full list for you to see what ingredients are in your makeup I find it helpful for shopping online when some websites don't post the ingredients list.

I LOVE me some Jane Iredale. Also, the sephora website is really good at listing paraben free stuff when you look at descriptions.
